Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Stefan Zagelmeyer is Professor of Economics and Human Resource Management at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef-Bonn, Germany (www.fh-bad-honnef.de).
Prior to this post he was employed as Professor of Economics and HRM and Dean at Cologne Business School (2008), as Professor of Economics and HRM at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef-Bonn, Germany (2004-2008), and as Lecturer in HRM at Manchester School of Management (now Manchester Business School), UMIST, UK (2002-2004). From 2000 to 2002, he worked as researcher at the Department of Economics, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. He was Research Associate at Darwin College and Marie-Curie-Fellow at the Department of Applied Economics, University of Cambridge, UK (2001), and Visiting Lecturer in HRM at the Graduate School of Business, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa (2000). From 1997 to 2000, he worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Societies and the Cologne Institute for Business Research, Germany.
Dr. Zagelmeyer studied Economics (Dipl.-Volkswirt) at the University of Cologne, Germany, and Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations (MSc) at the London School of Economics, UK. In 2002, he was awarded a PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) by the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.
